2025 – Judges Seminar
Aotearoa Quilters Judges Seminar – May 2025
Aotearoa Quilters is very excited and thrilled to announce that we have secured Jenny Bacon, world renowned Quilter, International Certified Judge and Tutor to run a two-day Judges Seminar on Friday 16th and Saturday 17th of May 2025 at the Wigram Airforce Museum (same venue as the GNZQS).
Jenny Bacon makes quilts both traditional and Art, has exhibitions of her work, been part of the NSW Judge Education Programme since conception, a 2-year programme in Australia and so much more.

Overview of the Seminar; To provide in a practical, supportive environment for an introduction in, revision and practice of skills required for judging quilts and quilted textile art. Also, Masterclasses for associated skills required in judging, jurying and curating.
There only 15 positions available for this Seminar. Registrations commence on 25 August 2024, to register click here or please go to the members website page of Aotearoa Quilters and look under The Great New Zealand Quilt Show 2025 menu.
The Total Cost for the seminar is $250.00 per person, a non-refundable deposit of $75 is required upon registration. Full payment is required by April 30th 2025.
Confirmation of your registration will be sent to you after funds have been received. Should you not make the cut, confirmation of the waiting list will be given and funds returned.
It will be first in, first served. Any excess registrations will be held in received order, should there be any vacancies from those withdrawing from the seminar. If you pay and don’t make the cut, your deposit will be refunded.
To register and attend the seminar you must be a financial or life member of Aotearoa Quilters.
